PROMENADE - imPROved Maritime awarENess by means of AI and BD mEthods

The EU-funded PROMENADE project will apply AI and Big Data technologies to improve vessel tracking, behaviour analysis and automatic anomaly detection solutions and promote collaborative exchange of information between surveillance authorities. The project will deliver an open, service-based toolkit with a high-performance computer platform.

HERMES - High Efficiency wiReless CMOS transceiver boosted by artificial intelligencE for 6G bandS and beyond

HERMES proposes fusing AI and deep sub-micron CMOS technology to develop a new generation of wireless transceivers. Focusing on sub-terahertz frequencies between 140 and 160 GHz, the project will break new ground in data conversion in the sub-terahertz spectrum for applications far-beyond 5G.

Feasibility study to optimize 3D scanning processes using DI to improve the quality of digital cultural heritage content

As technology evolves, cultural heritage can be qualitatively digitized to reflect texture, properties, and shapes of not only two-dimensional but also three-dimensional objects, avoiding noise and extraneous points that often occur with the classical point cloud processing methods.
